The NARS Patient Monitoring Suite of Simulators can be used in all phases of patient care for any human (role-playing) or ANY patient simulator, including the TOMManikin and TAMikin.

We offer a wide range of simulation devices to assist in realistic medical training scenarios. These devices realistically replicate a patient’s dynamically changing condition with appropriate/inappropriate interventions. Instructors remain in control of all diagnostic values to challenge their student’s ability to recognize and respond appropriately.

NARS Deluxe ALS Kit — #93-0351

The NARS ALS simulator integrates simulated cardiac rhythms into the training scenario. The NARS ALS simulator depicts instructor-selected EKG rhythms onto a ruggedized tablet screen that realistically resembles commercially available monitor/defibrillators. A cadre tablet keeps the instructor is in full control of displayed cardiac rhythms, and monitor values for SpO2, CO2, blood pressure, and heart rate.

The simulated monitor display includes the following touch controls:

On/Off
Energy Select
Charge (with audible tone)
Shock (no shock is delivered)
Sync (with R wave markers)
Pacer (no shock is delivered)
Rate adjustment
Current adjustment
Pause

All simulated values and functions are controlled via Bluetooth. The ACLS simulator can be synced our Patient Monitor Suite (PMS) of simulators to add consistent patient vital sign realism throughout the simulation. The NARS-PMS includes a wrist-style NIBP cuff, pulse oximeter, and in-line end-tidal capnometer.
